KAP Member for Kennedy Bob Katter is supporting Senator Culleton’s decision to leave Pauline Hanson’s One Nation Party. Mr Katter said, “There’s something weird going on.”

“Rod Culleton’s sins:

1> Backing a Royal Commission into the banking sector;

2> Backing the sale of Kidman & Co to the “all Australian bid” and not Rinehart and Shanghai CRED;

3> Opposing the bashing up of the farmers and tourist operators (Backpacker Tax);

4> Opposing the bashing up the workers (ABCC legislation).

“It is almost beyond belief that Pauline was on the dark side on each of these issues.

“It was Rod’s support of a Royal Commission into the banks and backing the BBHO all Australian bid of Kidman & Co that precipitated Pauline’s deadly attacks upon Rod.

“A bloke has been punished for courageously sticking to the core values of the One Nation supporters.

“Pauline has used a missing $7.50 key – (to which the courts have found Rod totally innocent of) as a vehicle to kick Rod out of the party.

“Within five months, she’s blown a quarter of her party away. And for what? Championing the heartland One Nation policies?

“This will be one of the weird watersheds in recent political history.”
