During a Brisbane press conference today, KAP Federal Member for Kennedy, Bob Katter said he’d put NSW Premier Baird in jail over Ausgrid.

Mr Katter said, “We gave the federal draftsmen legislation to stop the sale of Ausgrid last fortnight. We instructions gave to immediately stop the sale of Ausgrid.

“I’ve already put on public record and I will do so again today: If I was the dictator of Australia, I would put Baird in jail because that’s where he belongs.

“When you’ve committed an action of such a level of destruction on the people of Australia and give them an overseas monopoly where they can be charged anything, then you deserve to go to jail. That is a far worse offence than a lot of the offences people are in jail for.”
