No tolerance on terrorism
2014-08-28

KAP Leader and the Federal Member for Kennedy Bob Katter MP while supporting the Prime Minister and his recent statements on terrorism – believes Australia should go further and revoke the citizenships of anyone engaged with a terrorist organisation.

“The Prime Minister is right – we are dealing with medieval barbarianism and the threats that extreme terrorists pose to this country are very real.

“There are a large number of graphic images in the media, this activity is not Australian and if Australian citizens engage in this type of behaviour then it is not acceptable for them to live here and enjoy the freedoms that Australia can afford.

“If they engage in terrorist behaviour then they should not be allowed back into Australia and their citizenship should be revoked immediately,” Mr Katter said.

“Jail should not be an option, why should we put a roof over their heads and give them three meals a day? These barbaric extremists should simply not be allowed to live in Australia,” Mr Katter said.
