Federal Member for Kennedy Bob Katter is inviting community members to attend the upcoming ‘Kennedy Cabinet’ meetings – the first of which will be held in coastal areas next week – to discuss proposals, ideas, concerns and initiatives.

These are the first in a series of Kennedy Cabinets to be held across the Kennedy Electorate, from the Mid-West and Mt Isa to the Gulf, Tablelands and Coastal communities.

“The outcomes from these Cabinets will help us prepare our battle plans for 2013,” Mr Katter said.

“We want to know what is missing, what can be improved, what is working well and what isn’t.”

Issues raised in previous forums include:
Access to Dentists; North Australia Clean Energy Corridor; CO2 Offsets in Farming; No Banana Imports; No Beef Imports; Emergency Flood Measures; Ethanol Plants; Gulf Bridges; Coastal, Inland and Western Roads; Aged Care; Health issues; Wild Rivers; Reef Plan; No Fishing Ban; Mining Projects; Transmission Lines; Radio Coverage; Weather Radar; Broadband Network and Communication.
